This Privacy Policy describes how Salood collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data when the App is used outside the EU/EEA and outside the United Kingdom, with particular attention to US / international English-speaking usage.

2. Personal data processed

Depending on your use of the App, we may process:

• identification and account data: e-mail, username, hashed password, avatar, preferences, country_code and accepted Terms version;
• usage data: custom content, social interactions, friend requests, groups, statistics, badges, referrals and other actions linked to use of the service;
• technical and security data: IP address, logs, session metadata, internal identifiers, platform and locale;
• subscription data: product identifiers, statuses, dates and technical information provided by Apple, Google and/or RevenueCat;
• notification and communication data: push token and the status of your marketing and push preferences;
• support and transactional e-mail data.

We do not receive your full banking details.

3. Sources of the data

Data comes from you, your device, the relevant Store, RevenueCat, use of the App and the security or audit events generated.

4. Purposes of processing

We use your data in particular to:

• create, manage and secure your account;
• provide the App's features;
• manage in-app purchases, subscriptions, trials, subscription synchronisation and validations;
• send transactional e-mails;
• manage your marketing communication preferences and send notifications where you have enabled them;
• prevent fraud and abuse and defend our rights;
• comply with legal obligations.

5. Sharing and recipients

Depending on the case, your data may be accessible to:

• the hosting provider and technical infrastructure in use;
• Apple App Store, Google Play Store and RevenueCat;
• Expo or services necessary to send notifications;
• Brevo (SMTP) for certain transactional e-mails;
• providers, advisers or authorities where necessary.

6. International transfers

Given the international nature of certain technical providers and distribution platforms, some data may be processed in multiple countries.

Where applicable law requires specific safeguards for international transfers, we intend to rely on the appropriate mechanism required by that law.

7. Retention

Data is retained for periods proportionate to the purposes pursued:

• active account: for the lifetime of the account;
• security, evidence and audit: for as long as useful for those purposes;
• password reset codes: a very limited period;
• push tokens: for as long as they remain technically associated with your account, or until invalidation, replacement or revocation; as of today, withdrawing consent blocks the sending of notifications but does not automatically erase a token already stored;
• account deletion: soft delete of the user account, anonymisation of the e-mail address and username, deletion of the password hash and revocation of sessions; this operation does not necessarily, by itself, erase all technical, contractual, support, content or audit data already linked to the account;
• other data: for as long as useful for service operation, support and compliance with legal obligations.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS, hashed passwords, access controls and logging of certain sensitive events.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live and the law applicable to you, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, such as rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, objection or withdrawal of consent.

This policy is not intended to grant you broader rights than those provided by applicable law, nor to restrict rights you already have.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated at any time to reflect changes in the App, its providers or the applicable legal framework.
